And that's where we come in add your stocks to Dividend Watch and we'll send you a simple notification when your company pays out cash dividends. We also know that planning ahead is valuable, so we have added a simple way to fetch the dividend calendar for your investment select a stock from your portfolio, and we'll show you a quick list of all the future and past dividend payouts from the company. Your notification preferences are easily customizable; you can pick and choose what type of notifications you want to receive. By default, Dividend Watch provides the following notifications: (1) Dividend Pay Day: The pay day (or "payment date") is the day when the dividend checks will actually be mailed to the shareholders of a company or credited to brokerage accounts. (2) Market Index Close Values: Notification sent daily on market close time, informs you of daily changes in market index such as NASDAQ, DOW, and S&P. Additionally, Dividend Watch provides a subscription-based service for $0.99 per year, renewed automatically. Once you subscribe for the yearly service, you may turn on the advanced notification settings including the following: (1) Ex-Dividend Day: The ex-dividend date is the day on which all shares bought and sold no longer come attached with the right to be paid the most recently declared dividend. (2) Dividend Record Day: Shareholders who properly registered their ownership on or before the record date (or "date of record") will receive the dividend. Shareholders who are not registered as of this date will not receive the dividend. (3) Price Change by +/- 3%: Notification captures large scale shifts in the price of stocks in your watchlist notifications will be sent out at market close time and will inform you of any shifts by more than 3% of current price.
